This going to be the first of a number of E cigarette reviews of various different E cigarettes that I have tried and are available online. So the E-cigarette in question this time is the Blu electronic cigarette.
This first thing to mention about the Blu E cigarette is the great looking website, some sellers take their website for granted, but at Blu it is really great looking, easy on the eye and so easy to navigate.
After making my order with Blu, which on cost me $69.95 for the starter kit, my Blu E cigarette was at my door after only a few days, you can’t argue with that! Upon opening my new purchase I was greeted with some lovely looking packaging, it really shows that they take pride in their products. Once I had it opened up I found the a quick user guide, the manual, my Blu cigarette, a e cig case and a selection of chargers and batteries.
Overview
The little quick user guide is really pretty conclusive, a quick look over it and you are ready to get smoking. To be honest I didn’t really look that much at the full manual, I really didn’t need to after a glance at the quick user guide. As for the charger you get the usual wall plug charger and the little USB charger, but there is a little something extra for you. The Blu cigarette case that comes with the starter kit – for you to store your E cig, batteries and spare cartridges – also acts as a charger for your batteries. This really is something special! Just put the Blu cigarette into the case and it will get recharged in around 30-40 minutes, which leaves you will about a days worth of usage. You are able to recharge your battery around 6 times with the case before you have to recharge the case. This means no more hunting for a spare battery, or charging point while you are on the move, you have your portable charger on your at all times. So far I have found that I only need to charge up the case about every 4 days or so. Not only does the box recharge your Blu E cigarette but it also have space to hold 5 cartridge refills and a spare battery.
Cartridges
Also included in the starter kit along with the regular flavor cartridges is a free sample of the different flavors you can choose from. You get Cherry, Coffee, Menthol, Vanilla and Classic Tobacco. I’ve always been partial to the odd menthol cigarette, so I do quite like this flavor. But so far im really enjoying the coffee and cherry flavors. I’ll certainly be buying them again. As for the regular cartridges, you get 25 included in the starter kit. One of these cartridges works out to be 15 regular cigarettes, so that’s 375 cigarettes included with your starter kit! When you consider that a carton of 25 cartridges only costs you $25 that is some serious value for money! Not only are you getting really good value for money, the vapor produced by these cartridges is pretty excellent, it is certainly up there with all of the other top E cigarettes available on the market. Unlike a regular cigarette where you have to take really deep strong drags to get the best out of it, the Blu cigarette will reward you when you take more gentle prolonged drags.
Spares
When it comes to spare parts you cant argue even a little with Blu, if you want to buy a new battery it costs only $10, if you want to buy a new recharging pack it costs $10, if you want a new atomizer two of them will csot you $10, if you want a new charger it costs, wait for it, $10! These spares are dirt cheap and when you compare that to other manufacturers costs its seems even cheaper! The starter kit costs $69.95, the cartridges (when you run out) cost $25 for 25 and all the spares are $10, this is really fantastic value!
So far, im really really impressed with the all round quality and value of Blu E Cigarettes. Its of really high quality and so cheap to buy! How often can we say that about any product we buy today. I’ve had a look around on forums and other websites and I can’t find any common problems at the moment, so it’s looking really good for the future of the Blu Cigarette, I for one will be using it for some time to come!
