It has been quite a while since I have posted anything on E Cigarettes Buy, I’ve been a little bit busy with life but I’m going to make some more time to write reviews and find new E cigarettes. The first of these is going to be the Eversmoke device.
Eversmoke popped up towards the end of 2011. When I first checked out their website I knew that there was something familiar looking about it. A few days later I received an email which confirmed my thoughts. Eversmoke is an extension of South Beach Smoke. I’m not sure why South Beach saw a need to release another product under a different name, after-all they have revamped their own product, improving it by quite a margin, which I will report back on in another review soon. The only thing I can think of is they thought the name or design of South Beach didn’t appeal to enough people. Anyway enough chat, on to the review.

As I mentioned above the branding of the Eversmoke is different to the South Beach. The packaging is lighter in color which gives it a cleaner, fresher look to it. I think they have opted for a green and white color scheme to give the product a more “Green”, or “healthy”, look to it. Regardless, it does look pretty nice and everything inside the box is package well and is secure.
The kit that I have is the “Basic Starter Kit”, this is their entry level kit, it contains everything you need to get started and represents good value for money at only $59.99. For your money you will get one battery, a wall and USB charger and 5 cartridges of your choice. If you have read my other E cigarette reviews you will know that I do prefer having more accessories, mainly carry cases and portable chargers. So if this is going to be your main E cigarette then I suggest you look at the “Ultimate Starter Kit” or the “Plus” version of that. You will be thankful of the extra outlay once you start really using it.
Batteries

I really like manual batteries, I feel that I have more control over the vapor production of the E cigarette with them. With automatic batteries you really need to work hard to get good vapor, priming the cartridge before you take a drag. I’m glad to report that Eversmoke offer manual batteries, they make such a difference. When ordering you can choose between manual or auto batteries, so if you prefer the autos you wont be left out.
When using the Eversmoke through the day I found that the standard battery would need to be given a recharge for it to last until I went to sleep. Generally I would get about 200-225 puffs before a charge would be needed. To “smoke” a full cartridge, about the same as a pack of cigarettes, will require about 300 puffs. If you are a pack-a-day smoker then I would recommend going for a larger battery (the extra capacity option), this will give you between 300-350 puffs before you need to charge it up.
Refills

Thankfully Eversmoke offer a flavor sampler pack, so you can get to try out all the flavors they offer without having to spend a huge amount of money buying packs of 15 of each flavor. It lets you find out just what flavor is best for you. Currently they offer tobacco, vanilla, cherry, menthol, peppermint and coffee. All of the flavors are decent but none of them really stand out as being better than an others that I’ve been using. The tobacco is nice, so if that’s all you want you will not be let down, I like the vanilla too, but the rest are all fairly average sadly.
Vapor

Vapor production is really good with the Eversmoke, possibly helped along by the manual battery. The vapor is really thick and the volume is on par with V2 Cigs and Green Smoke, which is really impressive. This is a massive improvement from the first South Beach device that I used last year.
The throat hit is quite nice as well. It feels quite mellow but there is a really prominent feel there. A lot of electronic cigarettes give off a really harsh hit to the throat which I really don’t like, it can be like swallowing gravel, this isn’t the case with the Eversmoke, it is very pleasant.
Refill Costs

Unlike South Beach, buying refills from Eversmoke is very straight forward. The basic price is $39.99 for 15 carts ($2.66 each). If you buy more you can save money, getting carts for either $2.33 or $2.22 each. These prices are pretty good, but not quite at the level of V2 Cigs, where you can get refills for as little as $1.62. The V2 flavors are better as well, in my opinion.
Improvements
There really isn’t a lot wrong with the Eversmoke E cigarette. There is really only one thing that I would like to see improved, and that is the refill flavors. While they are alright they are not great, they don’t stand out from all of the others on the market. I would also like to see a couple of different tobacco flavors, not just one generic tobacco flavor. There are hundreds of different tobacco cigarette brands out there for a reason, different people look for different things from their tobacco flavor.
This is going to be one of my top rated E cigarettes! It could be the new number 1, all it needs is the flavors to be a little bit better and it’ll be there. But it is still an excellent E cigarette and the starter kits are very well priced. I really recommend giving the Eversmoke a try!
